This patient had a bulging front part of the eye due to anterior staphyloma — a condition where the cornea becomes extremely thin and protrudes outward.
Through a carefully performed corneal transplant (keratoplasty), the eye regained its natural shape. The bulge disappeared — and with it, the hesitation and self-consciousness that shadowed daily life.
Today, the patient looks and feels renewed — confident, comfortable, and socially at ease.
